• Bloomfield Hills Country Club – This private golf course has a rich history and tradition. It was opened in 1909 and has a warm, welcoming and friendly membership. It’s a true staple of the community.
• Kirk in the Hills Presbyterian Church – This massive church is a truly awesome site and will have you admiring its structure as you drive down Long Lake Road. Inspired by the Melrose Abbey in Scotland, the design of the church originated before the Second World War but services weren’t held until 1952. The Tower of the Apostles holds the world’s largest carillon in the number of bells.
Cranbrook is an elite independent school in which artists-in-residence mentor students in art, architecture and design to creatively influence contemporary culture. Many notable artists have been educated at Cranbrook.

• Not just the house is new but so is the landscape. Things like trees and bushes will be small and not provide very much cover for many years, even a decade.
• The trend for new homes tends to be a little bigger house with less yard meaning you might be close to your neighbor.
• If you’re purchasing one of the first new homes in a growing neighborhood, you may have to put up with construction as the houses are being built. Construction workers sometimes get their machines up and running around 7 a.m.
